The TV has only two small plastic pieces that set in slots in the oval base and the TV seemed quite top heavy. it doesn't snap or lock into the base....just slips into the slots.
Last week when unplugging my printer which shared an elecrical outlet box with the TV, my shoulder brushed the back of the TV and it toppled over, hit my arm and leg, fell hitting the corner of the dresser on its' way to the floor. Amazed it did not shatter, I picked it up and set it back in the base on the dresser noticing a small scratch in the lower corner of the screen. When it was truned back on, much to my dismay the small scratch was actually a 1/4" crack. The TV is TOAST....what a WASTE of $$$$$! To say I am disappointed and unhappy an understatement! Wish I had paid attention to my initial concern of it being top-heavy in the base.
Loved the TV for the few months I was able to enjoy it.....Wish it still worked!

I PURCHASED THIS ONE AS A GIFT FOR MY SISTER TURNED OUT TO BE SOMETHING I WANTED TO KEEP VERY NICE AND DOES A LOT SHE HOOKS HER LAPTOP AND DESK TOP UP TOO IT--------- GREAT GIFT TO GIVE AND RECEIVE.

I love this TV, for me it is the perfect size. I purchased previously from HSN the JVC VHS/DVD recorder and I have hooked both that and my cable box up to this TV and find it easy to use, and the picture is great. Shipping was very prompt even though there were many snowstorms in the area at the time. I appreciate the flex pay option, and don't feel like I was overcharged for the privilege of using it.
