Picture was becautiful on the stations you could receive. Problem was could not recive the basic stations. I even took it out in the middle of my backyard, so no interference and could not reach all local stations. I was buying in case of hurricane and if I can't get local stations, it would do me no good. I know these will be perfected and will actually come down in price, but I was willing to pay current price IF I had been able to get all local channels from the major networks. Returned it!

Picture is great. Read the manual when setting up for the first time. I receive more channels on this TV than 3 other top-of-the line LCD TV's in my house, from name brands. Tuner is outstanding. Sound has excellent clarity. Value is great, and HSN flex pay puts it over the top.

This was the worst item I ever bought no picure no sound and got so hot thought it was going to catch on fire needless to say sent it back also antenna would not stay in tight

Like the other reviewers, I couldn't pick up many channels using the antennas. For those of you who couldn't pick up any channels using the direct cable connection, did you change the setting to "cable" instead of "air" and then choose "autoscan?" Once I figured this out, I went from 12 to 100+ channels! Picture quality is good for the size. I am only giving it a good rating because 1 I'm not sure of the longevity of the product, and 2) it doesn't pick up many channels over the air.

I totally agree with all the rest of the negative comments, especially the one from Teniya. This unit is advertised as capable of 740P resolution and because of its compactness, its picture should look as good or better than bigger units offering the same resolution. In actuality it does not. Possibly because it is limited to 234 pixels vertically.
