Love is in the air. So is the smell of roses from your sweetie, hugs for your hunny and maybe a flirty first date for your February V-day? Most women believe that we’ve gotta show lots of skin to be sexy for our mates (and potential suitors), but not so! We must present ourselves in a way that allows his imagination to run wild with the possibilities of what’s underneath that cute but tastefully covered top. When preparing for a special night, whether it’s February 14th or any random Tuesday, it’s all in the layering.

Here are some tools on how to tempt him with your confident smile and a sexy silhouette.

For starters, we want to feel sexy in our skin. The easiest way to do that is to step out of a relaxing shower (perhaps with candles lit? try soy. they smell better and last longer) and slather on a yummy lotion with a hint of scent.

Next up: underwear! Ditch the granny panties for days when you don’t have a date. Try a pair from the line that celebrities swear by, Hanky Panky. Match it with the supportive yet sexy look of a Glamorise bra. It is the support of the bra that will raise your bust with what would appear to be a magical lift to slim down and show off your waist.

It’s my style expert advice that to feel your most sexiest self, choose your favorite body part and show it off but just a bit! If it’s your long neck that you love, try for a V-Neck sweater that accentuates your nape. Crazy about your calves? Go for a flowy solid-colored skirt that hits right below the knee and pair it with a print heel to really give those gams the spotlight. If you’re working what you’re working with, your inner light will glow. And that’s much sexier than showing off too much cleavage or leg.

Your jewelry should be something simple and romantic so as to draw the eye line down suggestively to your décolletage but not to distract from your beautiful face.

Finally, finish off your lovely look with an application of long-lasting lipstick. The lip color will stay on throughout dinner and hopefully through your V-Day dessert.
