| | | Fast & Easy Lasagne Serving Size: 10 Preparation Time :1:10 start to finish Ingredients 1 1/2 pounds Lean Ground beef or turkey -- browned and drained 4 cups spaghetti sauce (from a jar or homemade) 1 3/4 cups ricotta cheese (15 ounces) 1 large egg - beaten 1 teaspoon italian seasoning 8 pieces of oven ready lasagne noodles - uncooked 4 cups mozzarella cheese - shredded 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 10 inch parchment paper Directions - Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place a piece of parchment paper on spring form base, secure square spring form to base and lock, parchment will stick out over sides.
- Brown and drain meat and mix with sauce.
- Combine the ricotta and herbs and egg together.
- Mix the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- To assemble - spray spring form with non stick spray.
- Place one cup of sauce on the bottom of spring form and spread around.
- Place two lasagne pieces on top vertically, spread 2/3 cup of ricotta on top of noodles, top with 1 cup sauce, and 11/4 cup mozzarella.
- Top with 2 more lasagne noodles going horizontal, top with 2/3 cup ricotta, 1 cup of sauce, and 1/14 cups mozzarella mixture. Repeat one more time with noodles going vertically, use the remaining ricotta, 1 cup sauce and 11/4 cups mozzarella.
- To finish, place remaining noodle horizontally, top with remaining sauce and remaining mozzarella on top.
- Place lasagne in oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes before removing the ring.
Note Serving Ideas : Slide the parchment onto a cutting board before cutting up and serving. A delicious crowd pleasing meal with virtually no clean up...Leftovers are a dream. |
