| | | Cranberry Relish
Makes 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened grape juice Preparation
- In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, then lower to
a simmer.
- Continue to cook for about 5 minutes, until the mixture is thick and the
berries are glazed.
- Allow to cool.
- Transfer to a covered container and refrigerate until needed.
About this recipe: This relish was created specifically for my Savory Squash Soup (see separate recipe). But it’s a sweet sauce that’s also perfect for use with desserts.
