Cranberry Relish
Wolfgang Puck Cranberry Relish
Makes 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened grape juice
Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer.
  3. Continue to cook for about 5 minutes, until the mixture is thick and the berries are glazed.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Transfer to a covered container and refrigerate until needed.
About this recipe:
This relish was created specifically for my Savory Squash Soup (see separate recipe). But it’s a sweet sauce that’s also perfect for use with desserts.
