This is the best serger on the market. It has more stitches than any other machine in it's classs. I am very impressed with the ease of threading. If you refer to the manual on the CD, all of your questions will be answered. Thank you HSN!

I have owned a sewing machine for years but just started sewing in earnest about a month ago. I decided I wanted a serger but was intimidated by the bad reviews I read on this machine. I am so glad I decided to purchase it! There is a little bit of a learning curve on how to thread the machine but if you take your time and read the directions You should be fine. I had never even sat in front of a serger before but I serged a top a few hours after I had received this serger!

I was so excited to get my serger and although it was a little daunting at first - after a little lip biting and patience, it works beautifully. I have 2 other sergers bernina & brother I love this one the most. My bernina is also a coverstitch machine but it is always a pain to switch back to regular serging - this one is so easy.. I have yet to find something negative about it.

For the price, this is a very good serger. I purchase this as a replacement to the previous model...the price was great that I did not choose to repair the other. I grew up with Singer in our home and thou the other brands are just as good, I choose to stay with what I know. Singer great job.

I was very excited to receive my serger. Unfortunately, the threads kept breaking and I had to replace a needle the second time I tried to stitch. Called Singer customer service and after 1hr. and 47 minutes, I was told, by a very nice representative, to loosen the tension after all the other troube shooting. After many hours of trial and error, the problem wasn't resolved. I am sending it back.
