Easy to use right out of the box.... airforcemom46, OH Rating 10/9/2011
I love this machine. I didn't need to refer to the manual at all to begin using my Curvy. It is fast, quite, and versatile. The 3 LED light make it so easy to see exactly what you need to in order to sew perfect details. The self-threader is a must-have for the "mature" sewer! You just can't beat a Singer.

the machine was not as easy to use as the demo. I tried to make a pillow like they showed and I could find the letters fine, but when the machine sewed the words out it didn't stop at the end of the word like they said. I probably just had it set wrong. Returned and will go back to my old no frill machine until I am better at sewing. I am sure if I had more knowledge of sewing I would have loved it.

I have been sewing for over 50 years, and this is a great machine. It does everything I want it to and the ease to operate makes sewing a breeze. I hate when I'm in the mood and my machine frustrates me. Buy this machine! It is great to use and its ease lets you concentrate on being creative! Great machine at a great price!

Fantastic, Easy, The Best Around!... vbaypark, OR Rating 9/29/2011
I received this machine yesterday and immediately took it out of the package. I was intimidated by this machine as its a computer, but I went ahead and tried. It is super easy to operate. Push a button and the machine takes off! The only trouble I had was figuring out how to run the thread through the upper part of the machine because I am used to the old style. But once I got it in it makes sense and is easy. Fantastic price and just a wonderful machine!
