FAQs About the Threading and Bobbing Systems:

Q:  How do I use the SwiftSmart Threading System?
A:  Place the spool on the spool pin with the appropriate spool cap in place. Be sure the presser foot and needle are in the highest position. Swing your hand down and to the front and place the thread into the threading path along the front of the machine. You will see a thread guide above the needle. The needle threader has 2 hooks that need to be caught from back to front. Swing the thread to the left of the machine and into the thread cutter and then release. When you lower the thread lever (on the left of the machine), the needle threader will swing around and thread the eye of the needle. Pull the little loop through.

Q:  How do I use the Drop and Sew Bobbin System?
A:  Be sure the needle is in the highest position. Remove the bobbin cover plate. Insert the full bobbin. Be sure the bobbin turns counterclockwise when you pull the thread. Pull the thread toward you and catch it in the slot in the bobbin case (just left of the 6 o'clock position). Continue pulling the thread up and to the left until it stops (at the 8 o'clock position). Follow the groove in the needleplate that leads to the back and left of the machine. Continue back until it curves around to the cutter. Replace the bobbin cover and start sewing.
