Singer® 1000+ Stitches Computerized Sewing Machine with Value-Added Package Reviews

After 2 months of sewing I have had to go to metal bobbins #15. The plastic bobbins do not work well in this machine. The alphabet is ok, but dont buy it for the lettering. You are limited to small lettering.
But on the upside this machine has so many stiches to choose from to decorate and create, its worth the price.
Use only poly thread. It does not like heavy duty anything.

I finally decided on this sewing machine after looking at several. This one has a lot of different stitches and stitch functions. It is very easy to use and understand. The card that sits on the top of the machine is a great little reference tool to find the exact stitch you want without having to scroll through all the stitches. The machine runs very quiet and steady. I haven't had any problems with it at all. Great sewing machine and a great value.

Well I was very excited to purchase this machine after the great reviews I read on it however I was so disappointed in it after I received it!! This machine makes awful buttonholes all of them the worst I have ever seen!! Therefore if you sew garments and you need to make buttonholes this is NOT the machine for you!! Also the presser foot lifter will not stay up it keeps falling down into the lowest position!! I was so very diappointed in the entire machine so I sent it back.
