My daughter and I purchased this machine for quilting and crafts. We had never heard of Juki before seeing this on on HSN. We love this machine so much. It's a bit heavy but that's due to it's having actual metal parts inside so that's a plus in my book. It sews so quietly we can actually listen to television or have a conversation while we work. I love the needle up/down feature, the pressure foot is great, you can actually press on the heel end and the machine cuts your thread.

This machine sews very quit and fast. I own several machine and this is one is very powerful and smooth. It sews easily over heavy fabrics as well as light.

I love this machine. I like to quilt there is plenty of room for you to sew your quilt.I also like the bobbin it holds lots of thread and you do not have to keep stopping and winding it. It is a heavy machine,so it is not always moving around when you are working on a quilt.
