I needed a sewing basket that could hold alot of items, because I have alot of craft equipment, large scissors, etc. This bag is a good size and everything fits in so nicely.

I have several Janet Baskets but this is my first EcoBag. It has a wired wide-mouth type zipper which opens the top to the full size of the bag..so that when unzipped, the bag stands open like a box. The bottom & 2 long sides are padded. Inside there are 10 pockets: Two elastic topped ones on each end, two 1/2 width ones on one side, two - 1/4 width ones and 6 pen sized ones on the other side. There are flaps on each long side which can be zipped to cover the bag top when it's too full to zip the main wide-mouth zipper, but this is my one disappointment. This zipper is too light weight and hard to catch (like a really cheap jacket zipper). Also, the flaps are only about 1/2-2/3 the width of the bag so that you must squeeze the bag together to zip it.. I am using this to hold my Element's back headrests & all my car paraphanalia and would like to be able to flip the flaps over to cover the contents, but they are too narrow. Overall it's a great bag with many possiblities.

IT IS A GORGEOUS BAG, AND IT IS VERY ROOMY, AND A GREAT COLOR.

This is my knitting project bag, and it holds a ton of stuff! I can put in *several* projects, such as socks, a sweater, extra yarn, and the side pockets are perfect for the patterns, accessories and such...with all of that, there is STILL a lot of room for magazines, books and other goodies. Plus, it zips closed, so that curious little ones cannot get into it, and nice comfortable carrying handles. I could not be more pleased with this bag!!!
