This is one HUGE machine... LorriDelia, CA Rating 5/23/2013
I had to send it back because it was too darn big! I couldn't find a place to put it!!! I'm sure it would have been a wonderful toy for my craft room

My kids love it... cc4tx, TX Rating 4/9/2013
Fun to use and create. There is a learning curve on blade depth when it comes to cutting out your projects. I have learned that if you use inexpensive card stock it is best to use two sheets at a time. That way you won't go through so much paper trying to cut, but even with that you still have to be careful, otherwise you could end up with duplicates in one cut. Thats not so bad for those who precut all their craft projects in advance, or just to have extra on hand.

Great machine if you research!... Lauren228, NC Rating 3/31/2013
I love my ecraft...so far. I haven't used the paper roll method yet but loading from the front and the tray have been a success. I was pretty hesitant about purchasing one after reading some reviews but I went ahead anyway since I could return it if it didn't work out. It doesn't need a mat but it does help to have a piece of card stock for support. Tutorials also help a great deal. Purple Paper Paradise is the best blog with lots of ideas and helpful tips and tutorials!

I guess its okay... depjolin, CA Rating 3/5/2013
I don't usually leave a rating or comments but I'm hoping this helps someone. I've had this machine for several weeks now and have spent about thirty hours trying to get this machine to do what it promises. I really wanted this to work. This is my frst cutting machine, and the frustration is just not worth it. To the point I may never buy nother machine(of any brand) again. If you are looking to cut solid shapes without a lot of curves or small pieces then this will work for you. If you are looking at doing anything more difficult, i.e.cutting any joined words, small objects, objects with lots of detailed cutting, things with curves, THIS MACHINE IS HORRIBLE. Save yourself the frustration, paper (I've used over 100 pages) trying to get this thing to work. Overall I suggest you DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE.

Notes

  • The eCraft does not require the use of a mat. Instead, it creates micro-tabs, which are similar to a perforated cut. The micro-tabs hold the material together until you pull it apart. This helps eliminate the mess, fuss and risk of tearing that can occur when removing material from a mat.
