Great Sewing Machine... kaycoe, GA Rating 2/28/2012
I bought this sewing machine for my 78 year old mother who sews almost everyday. She has many sewing machines, but not one is working. She has a business and is in the middle of a very large sewing project so she was very fustrated with her broken older machines. She never had a Brother machine, I hope she'd use it temporarily until I was able to get a more expensive work horse sewing machine. Well she loves this one and she does not want a more expensive sewing machine.

Good for beginners... TXTransplant100, TX Rating 12/12/2011
I purchased it for my 16-year-old daughter's birthday since she is taking fashion design in high school. Good for beginners and for your basic sewing though I have yet not seen her use it often as I would like her to. Maybe we need to find some pants for her to hem.

Although very light and mostly plastic it produces a good stitch. Have only used it twice but seems like a good buy.
