Answers to Questions:

First - Thanks for all the feedback on my new "Sammy" hair cut! I wasn't planning on a short hair cut when I arrived in the green room to say "hi" to Sammy and discuss our show last week - but Sammy convinced me it was time for a change! I'm still getting used to my new "do" - it's much easier to style and much cooler to wear in the Florida heat!

For the Heidi Daus Fans - I'm glad to hear you love the idea of a cruise! How fun would that be? I'm not sure if this will happen, but I will let her know you're on board with the idea!

Malissa in CA asks about a reversible earring from Jay King - great suggestion! I will be sure to get the word to Jay's buyer....his "dream team" of designers loves getting inspiration for new pieces!

Amy in PA - Hi! There's no question that having a passion for jewelry is in the DNA....your six year old daughter is proof! I can't wait to tell Amy Kahn Russell that she has a new young "collector" - A jewelry maven in training! Thanks for sharing and for making my day, Amy!

Crystal in GA is asking about the carved Lapis Sphinx jewelry. I'm so glad you like it....We will try to bring it back, but it may not be until December or January (takes a long time to source and carve the natural lapis stones). Stay tuned!

Melissa in CA is asking about my "black diamond" pave flower ring. This ring will be here on May 17th as part of the 3 hour My Favorite Things jewelry show! I've had many requests for this ring....it's inspired by a genuine black diamond ring that I love - but the simulated version is beautiful and affordable! Hope you can watch!

Hi Colleen, Thank you for your beautiful jewelry designs. You can count on me to watch whenever you are on t.v. I like the new longer length necklaces & often double them, but while I have one loop that's longer & one that's shorter, after awhile, the shorter ends up tight against my throat as the longer loop has worked itself longer. Do you have any ideas on keeping the loops at the length I'd originally selected. I would even buy something to do this. Thanks. Marilyn

Dear Colleen, thank you for brining us such beautiful things, I really enjoy when you bring us custom pieces. I have one complaint my dear....the tarnish jewelry boxes. I have 3 black and 3 blue. Now I don't want a circus of colors on my dresser. I'd like to add pieces but I want them to match! I can't buy the cuff box or the eye glass box because of the colors. I hope this makes sense. Colleen, I LOVE all of your jewelry(and nicky butlers). I own the faceted drusy, and love it.I would love to see you or nicky do something in blue moon quartz, I have a loose stone,but i can't fing a setting for it, but it's so beautiful. It reminds me alot of moonstone, since it has the blue that moves across it. I would also like to see you do some rings in moonstone. One last thing, I LOVE!! that your rings are adjustable(i have large fingers). I LOVe your stuff keep up the good work!!

Would like to see that again.Also a silver/white gold & yellow gold hoop w/diamonds & without that could add dangle different stones to go with other jewelry. I store all items in your boxes, I have a Joy Mangano jewelry cleaning system and I just purchased a set of cleaning cloths from HSN. Hi Colleen, I would like to know when Diana Venezia will be back on HSN. I have been chasing the Rainbow Fluorite and Cultured Freshwater Pear Toggle Necklace since last showing back in March until tonight. I have been checking daily to see if it's available but it's always Sold Out or missing. Colleen; I have been shopping with HSN for a very long time and own quite a lot of your technibond jewlery, I have never had any problems with any of the pieced I have. One thing that really bothers me though, about the product, and that is that you no longer give the technibond a limited lifetime warranty. That seems to me that you no longer have faith in the product and therefore do not warrant it. I know you offer a 2 year warranty that we can purchase, but that is not the same.

My Mom and I love Nicky Butler and we had a couple of requests. First can he bring just his chains to the show. We have a couple of pendants that got caught on the seat belt and have broken and I don't like to separate my pieces and the ones on the market just don't seem to go with his pieces. Second, can he make a decorative link in his chains so that they can be adjusted down for a shorter look without sacrificing the complete look.

Re: NICKY BUTLER Colleen, would you please ask Nicky Butler to make a bracelet with a slotted clasp? He's made several bracelets where the slotted clasp would have fit right in. I cannot wear a toggle clasp, as they always fall off and I lose them. The C clasp & lobster claw clasp are too hard to fasten alone. Thanks!

Hi Collen, I love you hair too and it does make you look 10 years younger =) I bought a Technibond cluster pearl ring several years ago and lost one of the pearls. I keep looking for someone to come up with one like it. It was just the right size..thought maybe you could come up with a design. The plastic lids on my Prestige jewelry boxes have collapsed. Seems that they are glued onto the inside of the lid, however, if the boxes are meant to be stacked, there should be no weight on the actual plastic lid. I re-glued them with Krazy Glue but have no idea how this may affect the anti-tarnish on the inside. I think this is a design flaw that should be considered for future configurations.

Hi Colleen. Question regarding pearls. I have heard that you should not store pearls in the anti-tarnish jewelry boxes/cases because these boxes eliminate moisture and pearls need the moisture so these types of boxes aren't good for them. Is there any truth to that?

Good Afternoon Colleen, I tried calling in about the Mother of Pearl Multi disced necklace. Last year, I was fortunate enough to purchase the blk, wht, and the pink and they are fabulous. I also gave the blk as a christmas gift to one of my favorite girlfriends and she loved it. When presenting pieces like this would it be possible to also have earrings available? I love the haircut you look great. Will you consider bringing an animal print enamel bangle, leopard, tiger, giraffe, zebra, 3/8 inch, smooth on the inside and at least an 8 inch, a slip on, and would you consider a sterling silver omega ribbed, slight stretch, bangle, a slip on, at least 8 inch and 1/2 wide, smooth on the inside so it does not pinch the skin...for us with hand/wrist issues. I love jewelry no matter the age, but some bracelets are a challenge.
