I purchased these a few months ago when they were offered as a set of two with two globes. Today (Thanksgiving), I gave them to an elderly family member. We were all seated around the table as she opened her presents. Everyone oohh-ed and aahh-ed when she opened the globe. When she opened the stand, I put the globe on it. Imagine the humiliation I felt when it toppled over. I felt sorry for the recipient. I told her to tape it down and put greens around the base to hide that. To make matters worse, I had wrapped and taken along to dinner another set for her daughter. She will open hers next week. (We hid it in her car so her son could give it to her later.) How could HSN misrepresent a product in this way? DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

I bought a set of stands back in July along with the ornaments. Good thing I only ordered one set even though I ordered 2 sets of ornaments. I was just getting ready to give an ornament with a stand to my son and daughter in law. After reading the reviews, I will keep the stands since they don't seem to hold the ornaments. Thanks for the warning!

I am disappointed in HSN and the Sorelle girls, I have for many years purchased from both, and have been satisfied with MOST of my purchases.

The problem is, when I hang the ornament on the stand I have to grab them so not to brake the ornament. I am happy with the ornaments, ordered 4 of them, 2 for Christmas presents, waited several months for the stands, now I am very disappointed, it will cost too much to send them back (the stands) they need to be made with heavy duty material, or a bigger base so they will not tip over when putting the ornament on, SHAME on both HSN, for not trying the stands that suppose to go with the ornaments(that is why I ordered them both, the ornaments do not look as pretty without the stands) and shame on the Sorelle girls for selling a product that is so light, that it is not designed for the purpose intended.

I bought two sets of the stands one in silver the other in red.

The red ones are over one inch taller than the silver ones.

My problem with the design is that the bottom isn't weighted.
With the globes hanging from them they will fall forward at the sightest touch. If the base would have been weighted this would not be a problem.

I have more faith in just setting the golbes down without stands.

Where's the quality control. Oh I forgot I didn't see any Made In The USA Label. I ordered 3 sets and after trying all six of the stands 2 would not hold the ornament that it was designed for. It's not worth it to have to pay $6.95 to send it back after paying $6.38 for each set to receive them. I'm am very disapointed in the stands. I was so excited when I order 3 sets of the snowman and christmas tree ornaments. They are jsut beautiful that I couldn't wait for the Glass Stands to hang them on. I'm not sure if I should take the chance on ordering another set of stands or not. I don't want to end up with another set that I'm not able to use. If I didn't end up with a bad set I would give the stands 5 stars but because of the bad set I'm only giving it 2 stars.
