Besides the "Tail Feathers"...... Jesse200, OH Rating 11/7/2011
These coins are a perfect collectors item for the Sacagawea Gold Dollar. I am proud to display them along with my entire collection of rare coinage.

look at tail feathers closely... Anonymous , FL Rating 7/29/2007
If one is going to spend money on coins, it's best to spend it the right way for future years to come. I just got One 2000 - 2007 Complete Golden Sacagawea Dollar Set, 24 total coins in Dansco album - Each year has three coins (S-mint, D-mint, and P-mint) for 8 years so far. I got all 24 Sacagawea dollars in one album. All for under $350. From a private dealer. I know, I collect coins to. The 2001S runs about $165, the 2000P MS65 boldly detailed tail feathers $500.

Beautiful to the eye and desirable to the collector, these (2) 2000 Sacagawea Golden Dollars will be the highlight of any coin collection. You get one from the Philadelphia mint and one from the Denver mint.

2000 Sacagawea Dollars Features:

  • Beautiful design - the Sacagawea Golden Dollar was first minted in 2000 and is the first circulating coin to feature an identifiable Native American. Sacagawea was the guide who accompanied the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the coin depicts Sacagawea with her baby, Jean Baptiste, on her back. The reverse of the coin features an American eagle in flight, as well as 17 stars. This unusual number of stars symbolizes the 17 states in the Union at the time of Sacagawea's journey with the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
  • Graded MS67 - with no visible hairlines without magnification, these coins are above average in luster and eye appeal
  • Graded and encapsulated by ICG - graded by an independent company, you can rest assured of the coin's quality and authenticity. They are encapsulated in clear acrylic to preserve beauty and condition.
  • Weighs approx. .26 oz.
  • Measures approx. 1.03" in diameter
  • Only the coins are produced by the Philadelphia and Denver mints; none of the other features of the item relate to these mints
  • All coin items considered for return must be in their original condition as sold. Seals and cases contribute to the value of the coin and currency collectibles and must remain intact and unbroken. This applies but is not limited to: grading cases, Mint and Proof cases and packages, bag seals, original government sealed packaging and/or any other special packaging or containers.
