• Proof sets, which are made for collectors by the United States Mint, have been issued since 1936 
• Proof condition - struck at least twice on highly polished coin blanks to bring out the mirrored background and high-relief images 
• Produced by Philadelphia Mint - never made issued or intended for circulation 
• Dimes, quarters and half dollars are 90% silver
• Original packaging - unopened and in original, unopened government "flat packs"
