Honor our third president and principle author of the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson. This set includes a dozen proof coins bearing his likeness. Eight coins feature his home, Monticello. Four coins, dubbed "The Westward Journey" coins, were issued to commemorate the 200-year anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis & Clark expedition. All coins are proof. Each is individually encapsulated and placed in a presentation box that represents a wonderful slice of history for a child or grandchild.
