1982 Lincoln Cents Product Features:

  • 7-coin set; 3 coins with old composition and 4 coins with new composition
  • Identical in size and appearance, but new composition is lighter
  • Old composition - before the change in 1982, pennies were made from 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc (and weighed approx. 3.11 grams each)
  • New composition - after the change in 1982, pennies were made of 99.2% zinc and .8% copper (and weighed approx. 2.5 grams each)
