Uncirculated coins (1965, 1966, 1967) - high-quality coins that have not been distributed for public use; during these 3 years, proof coins were not produced
Proof coins - made exclusively for collectors by the United States Mint; struck at least twice on highly polished coin blanks to bring out the mirrored background and high-relief images
