Finger Prints... Trekkie1, OH Rating 2/3/2011
I have finger prints on alot of the pennies. In the 2 rolls the pennies also have finger prints on them. The coins in the rolls also are in backwards so someone had gone thourgh them and left the poorest coins for us. I am very disappointed in these coins. I also purchase other coins at the same time and they also have finger prints on them. They were the America's National Parkd 2010 State Quarters series.

  • In 2010 the United States Mint introduced the Lincoln Union Shield penny
  • The Union Shield, which appears on the reverse of the coin, is made up of the 13 vertical stripes to represent the states joined in one union under the Federal government, which is represented by the horizontal bar

Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) coins

  • P- and D-Mint coins 
  • Never issued into circulation

Satin-finish coins

  • Distinctive from regular coins because the dies are sandblasted with a fine mixture of sand and glass beads
