My son is an Eagle Scout, so when I saw this BSA coin, I just had to get it for him for his upcoming birthday!! I was really impressed with this coin. It looks the size of a silver eagle coin. When you look at the coin, you immediately recognize that it commemorates the Boy Scouts of America!! My son just loves it. Happy birthday Kyle and BSA!!!

my son was a boy scout, i credit this program with peacefulness i feel when my son is hunting,fishing or doing whatever...he learned so much about safety...and surival..i had to purchase one for him..he was thrilled..and i purchased one for me to add to my coin collection..must have for the coin collector

This stunning silver coin, in proof condition with a deep cameo finish, is a sparkling memento to those who have participated in and lead programs sponsored by The Boy Scouts of America, the largest youth organization in the United States.

2010 Boy Scouts of America ANACS PR70 Proof FDOI Silver Dollar Features:

Obverse depicts a Cub Scout in the foreground with a Boy Scout and female Venturer in the background saluting. Inscriptions are "CONTINUING THE JOURNEY," the dates 1910 and 2010, "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "LIBERTY"
Reverse features the Boy Scouts of America's universal emblem. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA," "BE PREPARED," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "ONE DOLLAR"
Graded PR70 Proof condition by ANACS - a proof coin with the highest possible grading of 70; struck at least twice on highly polished coin blanks to bring out the mirrored background and high-relief images
Deep cameo (DCAM) finish - deeply frosted devices and lettering that contrast with the fields to produce extra sharp details
First Day of Issue, Limited Edition of 1,449
Measures approx. 38mm (1-1/2")
