Top of The Line in Looks & Value... Jimbo4664, NJ Rating 5/28/2010
I was glad I bought this set from the moment I opened the box. Despite occasional problems with over-graded ICG coins bought through HSN in the past, this 18 piece Proof Set is downright stunning! HSN gets an “A” for both quality and presentation. From a collecting point of view, as an intermediate collector I can say I’ve encountered graded coins with grades that I questioned. But after inspecting this set with an illuminated 5x magnifier, I feel this set is worth every penny ( no pun intended ) because each coin was flawless. Add that this is a First Day of Issue / Limited Edition - Numbered set, and you have a real winner. Secondly, unlike some other nice HSN sets that come in cardboard boxes, this one has a beautiful Oak chest that is worthy of the set it carries. Solidly built, with nice brass hardware and attractively finished, this chest makes a good impression before you even open it. I admit this is not a cheap set, but dollar for dollar it's worth adding to any collection.
