Clearly flawed coin in set - PR70?!...
Anonymous , 8/7/2009
Like first reviewer, I too received this set with the Native American Dollar in less than PR70 condition. The coin had an easily visible stain like flaw and makes the set unacceptable. I don't think it possible anyone looked at this coin during grading, let alone three people as claimed. If they did, then ANACS grading has become worthless to HSN consumers. This set I am returning immediately.
Received this set with the 2008 Native American Dollar in less than Proof 70 condition. The actual coin had deep, visible flaws. Coin had deep gouges on the rim and was visibly dirty. Returned product and awaiting refund.
This one coin alone would ruin the value of the complete set. Each coin is advertised as graded by no less than three separate individuals. How could a coin in this bad condition "slip through the cracks" of quality assurance and grading?
