2008 Uncirculated Bald Eagle Silver Dollar

Surcharges from the original program were paid to the American Eagle Foundation of Tennessee to enable it to continue to save and protect Bald Eagles nationally.

• Obverse - portrays a mature Bald Eagle in flight
• Reverse - shows the original rendition of the Great Seal of the United States that was in use from 1782 to 1841
• Uncirculated coin - has never been distributed for public use
• Measures approx. 38.1mm (1-1/2") in diameter
• Weighs approx. 26.73g (.944 oz.)
• Contains approx. 1 oz. of .900 pure silver
• Encapsulated
