This coin, which was only released by the United States Mint in 2008, features the familiar obverse and reverse designs by American sculptor James Earle Fraser. These designs were first introduced in 1913 on the Indian Head or Buffalo nickel.

  • Deep cameo (DCAM) finish - deeply frosted devices and lettering that contrast with the fields to produce extra sharp details 
  • Produced by West Point Mint
  • Measures approx. 16.5mm in diameter
