I have given this type of set to my nephew age 9and my grandaughter age 14. They are excited about the beautiful shine and image on the coins. I have also printed out some historical facts about Sacagawea and the Westward Expedition. We are putting together their State Quarter maps during this April vacation. I wish HSN would restock this Golden Dollar set with the companion Golden state quarters.. The children are are excited about learning without realizing what's happening.

wasnt ready to see the box they came in thought it would be like the 2009 and 2010box but the coins look great am going to buy two more sets there gifts for my niece and nephews hope they get all the other years that i dont have

Coins arrived in box that had been crushed in the mail. They were out of the holder and in a plastic bag. No display box as pictured. D Coin is pited badly. Not worth the money for this one, Back they go.

2 Satin Finish Sacagawea dollars - Philadelphia and Denver mints
Proof Sacagawea dollar - San Francisco mint

Product Features:

Obverse (front) depicts Sacagawea with her baby, Jean Baptiste, on her back. The reverse of the coin features an American eagle in flight, as well as 17 stars
First minted in 2000
Proof Sacagawea - struck at least twice on highly polished coin blanks to bring out the mirrored background and high-relief images
Satin Finish Sacagaweas - different and distinctive from regular coins because the dies are sandblasted with a fine mixture of sand and glass beads
Encapsulated - custom acrylic presentation lens with a custom insert
