It's rare that an error is made at the United States Mint, but it happened in 2007. The result is the 2007 MS66 ICG John Adams Presidential Double-Edge Error Coin. Shortly after the coins were issued, it was learned that some of the coins have the inscriptions doubled-printed by mistake. Somehow, these coins were accidentally sent through the edge-inscription presses twice, resulting in 2 distinct impressions of each of the letters and numbers. To date, all known double-edge lettering errors come only from the Philadelphia Mint. Here's your chance to own one of those error coins—a presidential dollar that's sure to become the talk of your collection!
2007 MS66 ICG John Adams Presidential Double-Edge Error Coin Includes:

Each coin in the Presidential Dollars series is made for only about 3 months, so there is a very limited opportunity for error coins to be made and to be released into circulation.
