• Honors Benjamin Franklin - issued in 2006 by the United States Mint, these silver dollars honor Benjamin Franklin on the 300th anniversary of his birth
• Founding Father design - depicts Franklin as one of America's "Founding Fathers" and features a familiar image of Franklin in his later years.  The image is based on a bust originally executed by French sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon in 1778.  The reverse of this coin features a replica of a 1776 Continental Currency dollar, in honor of Franklin's contributions to the development of our Nation's coinage and currency.
• Scientist design - recreates on its obverse a rendition of Franklin and his legendary kite experiment.  The reverse of this coin, in a tribute to Franklin's role as a patriot and statesman, features a recreation of his political cartoon, "Join, or Die."
• 2 coins graded PR70 - Proof-70 is the highest grade possible. Proof coins are unlike regular U.S. coins, because they undergo a specialized minting process, which begins by manually feeding burnished silver coin blanks into presses fitted with special dies. The coin is struck multiple times so the softly frosted, yet detailed images seem to float above a mirror-like field.
• 2 coins graded MS70 - in Mint State condition with the highest possible grading of 70, this coin has outstanding eye appeal and retains its full original luster.
