2005 Marine Corps Silver Dollar Features:

• Issued to commemorate the 230th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps
• Beautiful design - the obverse features a rendition of the famous raising of the American flag at Iwo Jima in Japan. The reverse features the official emblem of the United States Marine Corp, which incorporates an American eagle, globe and anchor into its design. This has been the official emblem of the Marines since 1868.
• Proof - struck at least twice on highly polished coin blanks to bring out the mirrored background and high-relief images 
• Only issued in 2005
• Original government packaging
• Weighs approx. .86 oz.
• 90% silver
