• Reverse: features an American eagle in flight, as well as 17 stars symbolizing the 17 states in the Union at the time of Sacagawea's journey with the Lewis and Clark Expedition 
• Brilliant uncirculated - never issued into circulation
• Satin Finish (SP) - different and distinctive from regular coins because the dies are sandblasted with a fine mixture of sand and glass beads; called a burnished finish by the United States Mint; also known as Specimen State (SP) 
• From both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints - 1 per year from each mint
• Encased in acrylic lenses - keeps each pair together by year and helps protect the coins
• Presentation box - each lens comes in a box
