NEVER AGAIN10/3/2008 COINS IN PLASTIC BAGS, NOT ENCAPSULATED, HOW DISSAPOINTING.
HSN CAN NOT TRUST YOU AGAIN OR MIKE.
disaponted / Peter, FL10/3/2008 The coins in this set are not brillant uncirculated. Most of them were about Almost uncirculated 55. cons are graded on a 1-70 scale. plus they come in a plastic bubble wrap. Thje frames are half plastic and half wood. plus you have to set the quartes in the coin mat too. Just not what I was expecting.
SCAM FOR THE MONEY / Elizabeth, FL9/27/2008 When you figure the value of the coins and the frames it comes out to about $40.00, with shipping the actual cost is about $110.00. Not encapsulated as described on the air. Lies! Coins are in average condition. Rip off for the money. thinking about not ordering from this shopping site again. It would really have to be an excellent item to shop again!
50 State Quarterw P & D with Wood Frames / , WI9/16/2008 This product looked great and I believed the vendor from First Commemorative Mint in his description. What he showed and what I received are not the same. The frames are not wood, they are PLASTIC. The coins are not encapsuled separately to protect them, they were all stuffed in a little plastic bag and taped shut. I phoned HSN and they were very helpful in resolving this. They are also looking into this to find out what this vendor is up to because of what is described and what they ship to us.
shame,shame,shame9/14/2008 Shame on HSN & the coin hosts who, through this forum & calls to customer service, continur to not tell their shoppers that the quarters do not come in the frames, are not encapsulated & arrive bunched together in 2 seperate baggies. How can they be brilliant & uncirculated when you touch them to remove & put in the frames. Don''t the coin hosts say never touch the coins unless they are encased in plastic? You may as well buy a frame & use your pocketchange, its the same as buying this set!
