The Eisenhower Dollar, the last large-size dollar coin ever minted for circulation, was only minted from 1971 to 1978. Both silver and copper-nickel blended coins were minted during this time. Each of the 11 proof coins was graded by ICG and given a Proof-69 matching deep cameo rating. Deep cameos have deeply frosted devices and lettering that contrast with the fields for extra sharp details. Each coin is encapsulated in a graded acrylic tamper-proof holder to preserve its beauty and condition. The obverse (front side) depicts Dwight D. Eisenhower and the reverse features an eagle landing on the moon. The Bicentennial coins feature the moon behind the Liberty Bell. Other details of the 11-Coin Eisenhower Dollar Set include:
