The packing was poor - the brown corrugated shipping container box was open on bottom - I am surprised the coins didnt fall out. The individual cardboard coin packages are all bent, ragged, torn and extremely old looking. Looks to me like they found all of the coins that didnt sell because of torn packaging and put them into this set I am not happy for a purchase exceding $800.00 in price. Its still shrink wrapped on the counter in my home - I have not decided to open it or send it back.
This is a nice set, although the vendor sent me 2 1992 sets and skipped the 1991. I called cust serv and they assured me that I would get the missing set asap. Customer service was great!! Some of the covers are worn somewhat on the corners, but that's to be expected for some sets being around for 40 plus years and being handled. I gave it four stars only for the missing set from the vendor.
what a wonderful surprise after reading a few negative reviews I was thrilled with my delivery just great in every way even the original packageing on the oldest of the sets was in only slightly worn condition amazing 2 for 2 - 5's on orders I have received thanks for upholding your quality promises
