I was discouraged whether to reorder this et due to the condition the sets were in. The boxes were mangled and the plastic cases were broken and cracked. The enveloped that contained the 1965 mint coin was torn open I was not satisfied with the order so i had to return the item. Hsn was great they listened to me as a customer and helped me reorder the item. Hopefully i will have better luck with the reorder if not It will be my last order from the vendor.

VERY VERY POOR... Anonymous , LA Rating

I am very very dissapointed in the quality of the product. Many of the plastic cases were broken. I am returning the product today. This is strike one. I would not recommend this collection to anyone based on the quality that I received. I have ordered several times this year. Luckly I have received some excellant merchandise, other wise this would be my last order.

AWFUL! HORRIBLE!!!! BUYER BEWARE... Anonymous , Rating

What a sham this was! Only 8 of the proof sets arrived in a shabby box. On top of that there was cracking in at least one case and some coins throughout were discolored! I don't know what went on here but after reading other coin reviews from HSN I see this is frequent. No surprise since they charge double what you can get for these sets at any show or on Ebay.

An incredible 36 years of U.S. Mint Proof Set history is yours all at one time! This set includes every United States regular-issue proof set from 1968 - 2000. You also receive the 1965 - 1967 Special Mint Sets, representative of the years in which no proof sets were made. Marvel at the mirror-like finishes on each proof coin, the result of two or more stampings on special blanks during the minting process.

U.S. proof sets have been made each year from 1936 to present. The government didn't make proof sets from 1965 to 1967 because they were moving the proof-making area of the mint from the Philadelphia mint to the San Francisco mint. They did, however, make special mint sets and those are part of this 201-coin collection. You also receive the 1976 3-coin Bicentennial silver proof set. All 50 coins come in their original U.S. Mint sleeves with certificates of authenticity.

Key coins in the 1965-2000 Proof and Special Mint Set include:

1965-1967 - Special Mint Sets with first ever US coin minted in 40% silver.
1968-1970 - Last Kennedy half dollars minted in 40% silver.
1973-1981 - Includes dollar coins like the Eisenhower dollar and Susan B. Anthony dollar.
