- 1965 - 1970 - the only 40% silver Kennedy Half Dollars
- 1970-D Mint - the rarest coin in the collection, only 2,150,000 were made
- 1971 - the first copper-nickel coins
- 1976 - the special one-time-only bicentennial coin with the dual date "1776-1976" and Independence Hall on the reverse
- 1980-P Mint - the first Half Dollar with a "P" Mint mark
- 2000 - the first coins of the new millennium
- 2002 to 2008 - limited edition coins not released into circulation but made available exclusively to collectors
- Brilliant Uncirculated condition - these coins have never been released to the public
