This set of coins was more than I had hoped for. Some boxes were a little worn, but when their 30 or more years old, what do you expect. I was very pleased that the 1984 to 1990 sets were in virtually brand new condition! I'm so very excited to have added these sets to my collection.

All Bad From Packing to Coins... coins1961, WI Rating

THE BOXES THAT WERE SUPOSED TO BE PERFECT WERE TORN AND RIPPED. THE COIN CONTAINERS ,SOFT PLASTIC, WERE TORN AND HAD HOLES IN THEM. THE COINS IN SOME OF THE HARD PROOF CONTINERS WERE SPOTTED AND VERY HAZY. OVER ALL VERY POOR QUALITY.

I was extremely excited when I saw this set of coins for sale. I received my shipment on January 13, 2009, and was very disappointed when I went through all of the sets. Two of the cases were broken, the packages on some of the older sets looked like they had been handled quite a bit, and some of the coins were of very poor quality in the older years. The box the coins were shipped in was pretty beat up. I have bought some items from HSN and have never had a box show up looking so beat up.

Add 31 years of history to your collection with just one set! This immense collection features a total of 31 Proof Sets, each in its original condition and packaging. All US proof sets from 1961-1990 are included. A special issue 3-piece silver bicentennial set from 1976 is included in addition to the regular set from 1976. The government didn't make proof sets from 1965 to 1967, however, they did make special mint sets, which are also included in this special collection.

Note: All coin items considered for return must be in their original condition as sold. Seals and cases contribute to the value of the coin and currency collectibles and must remain intact and unbroken. This applies but is not limited to: grading cases, Mint and Proof cases and packages, bag seals, original government sealed packaging and/or any other special packaging or containers.
