Secure a cherished part of US coin history with this 1941-1947 Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar 20-piece Set. Crafted in 90% silver and featuring an exquisite design, the Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar is a magnificent reminder of the days when silver coins and circulating Half Dollars were a part of everyday currency.

The set includes all Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars from the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco mints between 1941 and 1947.  All of the coins were struck in 90% silver, 10% copper for a net weight of .36169 oz. of pure silver. Each has a reeded edge and measures approx. 1.2" in diameter.

Designed by Adolph Weinman, the Walking Liberty Half Dollar is widely considered one of America's most beautiful coins. The obverse depicts Lady Liberty walking towards a sunrise carrying branches of laurel and oak, while an eagle stretches its wings on the equally-stunning reverse.

This set of fine or better condition coins totals more than 7.2 oz. of silver and comes with a certificate of authenticity. A custom Dansco hardcover album makes it effortless to store, display and protect the stunning collection. Each album houses:

  • 1941 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco
  • 1942 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco
  • 1943 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco
  • 1944 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco
  • 1945 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco
  • 1946 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco
  • 1947 Silver Half Dollar - Philadelphia and Denver (no 1947 coins were made in San Francisco)

Note: All items considered for return must be in their original condition as sold. Seals and cases contribute to the value of the coin and currency collectibles and must remain intact and unbroken. This applies but is not limited to: grading cases, Mint and Proof cases and packages, bag seals, original government sealed packaging and/or any other special packaging or containers.
