  • Morgan dollar - designed by engraver George T. Morgan; since 1921, many Morgan dollars have been melted, especially when silver prices escalated, because these coins yield silver bullion 
  • Obverse: Lady Liberty with a slave's cap and the word "Liberty" inscribed on a ribbon
  • Reverse: American Eagle holding an olive branch of peace with the arrows of war
  • MS63 condition - at least 3 full grades better than a standard brilliant uncirculated coin 
  • Produced by New Orleans Mint (obsolete)
  • Approx. 38.1mm (1.5") in diameter
  • Weighs approx. 26.73g (.944 oz.)
  • Contains approx. .900 pure silver
