Highlighted by Lady Liberty on the front and an American eagle on the back, this 1884-CC Uncirculated Morgan Silver Dollar is a wonderful example of George T. Morgan's popular coin design. Over one hundred years old and in Uncirculated condition, it comes to you in the original GSA holder and box.

1884-CC Uncirculated Morgan Silver Dollar Features:

  • Named after its designer George T. Morgan, who was an engraver with the United States Mint
  • Obverse portrays Lady Liberty wearing a slave's cap (an ancient symbol of freedom) with the word "Liberty" inscribed on a ribbon
  • Reverse features an American eagle holding both the olive branch of peace and arrows of war
  • Uncirculated condition
  • Carson City mint
  • Measures approx. 1.49" in diameter
  • Weighs approx. 0.86 oz.
  • 90% pure silver
  • Original GSA packaging - in 1972, the General Service Administration (GSA) packaged about 3 million Uncirculated Carson City Morgan silver dollars in acrylic lenses. They were sold to the general public through a series of mail orders and came with presentation boxes.
