Why upgrade?
Received the 1878 S-Mint and found it to be no more or no less then what I had expected. Very good condition. Will be sending it off to have it "graded".
I recieved a 1878 S-mint that was suppost to be bu,and recieved a Au,So I returned it,and asked HSN to make their quality control better, and look at what they send out,Befor they ship IT!!!
Bought the coin before I bought a pricing book. Since the coin isn't graded, and not unusual, not worth the inflated price...I thought so after I got. Knew so after I priced in guide book. May only keep because of age...nothing more really to recommend coin. If you are buying coins as a investment...imagine the housing bubble before the fall....overpriced houses that never recoup the value...that is this coin.
