Shannon Smith calls her father’s dairy farm in Herman, Minn., home, because it’s the one place her heart will always be. She started her professional career as an entertainment reporter and moved on to executive produce, write, and host a series of syndicated radio shows in the Midwest. Prior to HSN, Shannon was a show host at another network.

Shannon enjoys reading so much that she had a library built in her home. She lives for traveling but would much rather fly than drive. Shannon cooks often and loves to experiment with recipes. She writes short stories and poems in her spare time and loves to work out, especially kickboxing and yoga.
