Chris Scanlon was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Oklahoma City, where her parents and much of her family still reside. Chris performed in live theater, from drama to musicals, for many years and can still sing and dance. Chris got her start in broadcasting at the CBS affiliate in Oklahoma City and later earned her show host chops at CVN in Minneapolis. If Chris wasn’t at HSN, she’d be chasing her sons, Devin and Sean, around more often than she already does.

Chris is an animal lover and keeps a rowdy household. Her pets include two pugs, Sammy and Poppy, two birds, Petey and Angel, and two cats, Salomon and Burton. She enjoys traveling and reading in her spare time.
