Diana Perkovic hails from Canada, specifically Toronto, Ontario, but considers Florida home. A dancer for many years, Diana intended to pursue a career in dance, but was plagued by knee problems. She realized her passion for all things television at an open house at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). When a news segment she worked on made the national news, Diana knew she was in the TV business to stay. She began volunteering at a local cable network station, learning the ins and outs of broadcast. Eventually, they started to pay her for her work.

Diana’s heritage is Croatian (she’s fluent in the language) and she spent her childhood summers visiting family in her parents’ hometown of Dubrovnik, Croatia. She’s a big reader, particularly politics, business, and biographies. A self-described “do-it-yourselfer,” Diana enjoys home improvements, from tiling floors to reupholstering furniture.
