Prosciutto Wrapped Figs with Gorgonzola
Ingredients:1 large black mission fig (or brown turkey fig), cut in half
1 thin piece of prosciutto di parma, cut in half
½ tsp gorgonzola cream
black pepper to taste
julienned scallions for garnish
Directions:
- Wrap figs with prosciutto and season.
- Bake till prosciutto is crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove and garnish with scallions.
- To Serve: line the plate with warm gorgonzola cream and lay fig skewers atop.
