make this  with Around the Block
The Mega Tagger

Using the Mega Tagger you can finally create gorgeous layouts to remember all the fun times.

Supplies:
  • 12” X 12” double sided cardstock of your choice
  • Alphabet Stickers of your choice
  • Around the Block Assorted Chipboard Tags
  • Around the Block Tagger Tails
  • Adhesive
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Scissors

Tools:

  • Around the Block Paper Tagger
  • Around the Block Brown Antiquing Tool
  • Around the Block Antiquing Tool in silver

Instructions:

  1. Cut a 6 ½” X 4 ½” border out of one of your patterned paper and glue your photo in the middle to create a border around your photo.

  2. Repeat step 1 but make your border 6 ¼” X 4 ¼” and use a different patterned paper.

  3. Antique the edges of your borders and the edges of your layout. Just use the sanding disk on one end of the antiquing tool and rub it along the edges to give it a distressed look. Then add ink with the other end of the tool. Make sure you allow it to dry before continuing.

  4. Layout your photos the way you want them to appear on your layout and then glue in place.

  5. Using alphabet stickers place “Best Friend” on your layout. Place the gems where you desire on the letters.

  6. Pick different sayings from your other patterned papers and antique the edges with your brown or silver antiquing tool.

  7. Pick different assorted chipboard tags to coordinate with your layout.

  8. Use the paper tagger to attach them along with the sayings you cut out. Load the desired color of tagger tails into the top of the tool. To change the color of tagger tails just push the white button underneath the nose of the tool while pulling the tails up and out of the tool. Stick the needle thru the premade hole on your chipboard tags or create a hole by poking one with the needle. Keeping your tag on the needle, poke the needle thru your paper; be sure to slide it all the way up to the nose of the tool. While keeping your hands on the back side of the paper for support, slowly squeeze the trigger. (Sometimes it helps if you watch the tagger tail come out the back side of the paper so you know how much pressure to apply to the handle.) If you squeeze the trigger too fast, there is too much pressure on the tagger tail and it could break.

  9. Continue to do step 8 with each item you want to attach to your project! Before you know it you’ll have a gorgeous layout to show off!
