Change is Exciting: New Outlook, New Advancements

Hi Girlfriends,

Everyone is talking about change since the election. Usually after the holidays we experience a let down but now everyone is trying to feel optimistic about the future, including me. And I say maybe we can’t change the economy in the coming months, but we can bring about change in the way we look and the way we care for our skin, and I can do my share and make everything I sell affordable for you.

In our shows in February and March, we will be bringing you many of our best-selling products at amazing values so you can keep your skin looking and acting its best. Long-time happy user. I bought the Hylauronic 1000 kit in December. It also included a free 1-year subscription to Glamour mag. This was offered as an incentive to purchase the product. Four months later I still haven't received the magazine. HSN has now thrown it back to me to follow up with the mag to get the subscription started. This should be THEIR responsibility to follow through, not mine. What a waste of my time! Have others had the same problem?

I have used the makeup for many years. I have to say I was very very disapointed in the last mascara that I got. I have used it some but it is just awful. It is kind of clear and it is hard to get off. I used to get the kits to get the free mascara and the vitamin stick. I have never ever been disapointed in any of your products but I have read some reviews of others that are similar about this item. I am not going to use it again for sure.

Adrienne, I use your products on a regular basis. Is it true what they say about the 2 mixtures of RezV anti aging and Tripeptinon mixed together give you immediate wrinkle reduction? If so have you looked into these products. Nothing seems to calm down my wrinkles, they stay on my upper lip, no matter what I use. Thanks for all your products.

hi adrienne. my mom ordered some of your skin care, and the wrinkle fillament with the little paddle? anyway, i think we are doing something wrong. when we apply the fillament to her wrinkles to fill them in, it doesnt dry!! its oily looking. what are we doing wrong? i saw the show where you put it on the ladies right there in front of us, and it looks wonderful, but its not working for us. can someone help us? i sooo want it to work!! thanks so much. jackie

Hi, Adrienne. Me again! I just wanted to let you know, even though I said I was going to hold out for the CANDLELIGHT, I have since bought 2 more kits for myself (sale priced and just too good to pass up, as I explained to my husband). I was also able to get the butterfly make-up compact for my best friends birthday, so I am very happy. The candlelight would still be nice, but I am finding that all your products are awesome so I'm still coming out ahead. Thank you so much!

Like Suzanne, I love your Dual Lift! How can I get more? I've used it on my face, neck and hands with wonderful results. Do you have another product that's like this? Flower In tense dual lift/I have been using your products since the dept store, but this time, wow, just cancelled a surgury, for another tightening up as you hit the jackpot this time. Not only is it the easiest way to use it, no more mixng with a little spatula. This new format with the Argon Oil, is AAMAZING....ADRIENNE, HOW MUCH BETTER CAN YOU GET. I use it at night and during the morning, with no other makeup all the other creams are on hold, as this product takes the place of everything.

I used to love your Mistake Proof Blush. It was the only blush I used and then I remember you coming out with a second color-more browns, tans, etc. for the fall. Could you please bring back Mistake Proof Blush? I'm 60 now and I still have a problem putting on blush but never with your Mistake Proof Blush. Dear Adrienne, I have to tell you how much I love your products. I am using the argan oil kit, and the vitamin C kit. I love your vanilla orchid shampoo and conditioner. It works great on my long fine hair, and I am amazed at the shine and bounce it gives my hair. I am hooked on this product too. For instance, how about two or three options instead of just one each time you are visiting HSN or on the web either? I am 52 years young and I adore your lip treatmeants. Ms Adrienne I have used your products for years. I am 65 and no one-absolutely no one puts my age any later that 55! I purchased your new Flower Garden long-term hold and I am a bit puzzled as to how to use it. When you expel the product, do they automatically combine? The liquid I get is clear only. I have tried to turn the nozzle towards the yellow component, but it doesn't move. Do I just push down on the top and it automatically mixes? Please advise timely as I am anxious to try it.

I have and do use your Adrienne Arpel line for years. I would like to know if you would do a Signature Club A with sometime of skin retexturing system? I am a 57 old blond haired, light blue eyed woman. I have a realatively good complexion with few few wrinkles or age spots. I am often at a loss as to what type of face make up and what color would be best for me. I do tan some in the summer in the summer and want a natual look but with some hints of color. Can you suggest anything for me. I am never sure as to the color of makeup I should use or whether it should be a liquid or liquid to powder etc. Thank you.

Dear Adrienne; I want to let you know that your products are still among the best in the industry, and hope you can help me with one request. You produced a wonderful Vit. C sunscreen until approx. 2 yrs. ago; this sunscreen not only had SPF 30, but did not irritate the eyes, when applied to the eyebrow area (which can sunburn quickly in fair-skinned types, such as myself). Could you bring this back before summer? As I recall, this sunscreen also did not cause break-outs. Thank you.

I switched to your products, after using a competitor's products 35+ years because they had not addressed the aging skin.I want to make a plea for a try me kit for the 5 essentials for the face, eyes and anything else included in this line.I love the try me kit in the Vit C. I make several trips a year that are short turn around trips that mean that I use a carry on suitcase. Lugging the big bottles is not advantageous, and I don't want to pay to check an extra suit case because of makeup.

I usually buy in quantity until this recent townturn in the economy, and have been limited in disposalable income. It would be very nice to have that essentials cream duo. It is imperative I use an extra moisturizer after use of the 5 essentials and would like Vit C nightcream. It was wonderful when I could get it. Hi Adrienne, I am 66 years old and love your makeup. I especially love the Tech Wet Set Powder but can only buy it in combination with the kit for the Tech Wet Set. Since I don't use the other makeup as quickly as the powder I have to order a new kit each time I need the powder. I love all of your products and have used them faithfully. My first introduction to them was over 30 years ago in a high end department store. I am desparately trying to find a product that I bought a few years back. It was contained in a gold and black compact. The bottom was gold and the top was black. It contained two types of capsules, one being double strength advance formula, high potency c anti wrinkle and age defying capsules. One the the capsules made my face look perly and shiny.

Hi Adrienne! I'm new to SCA. Wanted to try your concealers(great reviews). Got the ladybug travel kit to sample several. Would have left a rave review, but sadly it sold out. Love the candlelight make-up in that kit also. Planned to order another for myself and one for my best friend's up-coming b-day. I hope the candlelight make-up will be available on its own in the future and after reading your blog, I know I am not the only one. Didn't know what I was missing. Can't live without it now!

Love your products! Used a lot of them for at least 15 years. Have used my products on my friends & family doing makeovers like you taught me. They all now use as well. I do have one request. I bought the butterfly makeup kit and have the found I love all in it. I then purchased the makeup kit that has a different kind of blush, eye & lipstick that says creamy but is not creamy like the butterfy one. Could you make a new large kit that includes all that is in the butterfly? PLEASE!!!!

Adrienne: I am so upset. I order your most recent Feb. Todays Special and was so excited and impressed and couldn't wait to get the Feb. kit. I even ordered on auto delivery. Well, it never arrived. I called and emailed HSN Customer Service and they informed me I wouldn't get my Feb order until June 2009. Now why would I order a kit in February not expecting to get it until June? I can't live without your Nefratti bronzer or the silicone wrinkle fiber fill. I use one for a primer and the other is my makeup. It gives a great glow and I can use it for eyeshadow and blush then mascara and I'm out the door. I have used the Imperial C eye elixir for years. Its the only eye product that I have used that realy works and keeps my skin around the eye soft and youthful. I have been trying to order several tubes of it and cannot do so as it does not appear anywhere on line. I have also tried to order by phone. Ladies, just want to let you know that I just compared ingredients from SCA's retinol caps to Philosophy's hyaluronic/peptide caps (which have great reviews on the Q & their website), & Adrienne's are even better! I love your products. The one I REALLY miss is the over 40 only Vit C and silicone and line fill foundation. I've tried a few of your other foundation lines, but that one is absolutely the best for my skin. I like the new SCA sets but am unable to order any due to my superlight complexion. Adriene, please bring back the LIGHT option of shade color so us fair skin blonds can order your supersize powders included in the kits. Thank you. I have been buying your products for the past 9 years.

I really miss your Transparencies Sheer Finishing Powder. Without adding color it gave my face a youthful glow. People would tell my how beautiful my skin is and I'm 57! Is there anything in your current line that is comparable? Thank you!

One of your kits was my first purchase from HSN. It was very reasonably priced and it had Hawaiian nut oils infused in the powders and eyeshadow. Well prior to that I could not wear makeup because it made me look worse, but your products changed all that. In fact, I started using your makeup and went back to college, got a degree, and now I have a full time career. I have tried every kit, and they are all wonderful. You really help women everywhere. I have been trying to find one of your products that came in a large collection I ordered from HSN well over a year ago. I saved the jar, but the wording has worn so I hope this is close: Signature Club A Over 40 Imperial C Control & Hold for Neck, Throat & Breast Support Cream. The fragrance alone makes it worth buying (but it was not orange). This cream was luxurious, and I really miss it. How can I get it again (and what made it smell so sensual)?

Adrienne, I've been a fan for so many years, way back to Bloomingdales,so you know I have great respect for you & the products.I use your creams & have my husband using the Argan products as he just had some dermatology work on his face and now his skin is flawless.I use the Italian makeup with silicone filler...I am going to be 72, and people say I look 50.I hope you never stop making it., whenever I order your kits, the lipstick is awful color. Please give us some rosy tones or deeper colors..
