The team recently got back from an extensive trip to the Far East visiting Thailand, China, and finally ending up at one of the largest Jewelry Exhibitions in Hong Kong. In addition to searching for emerging jewelry trends, new technology, or newly discovered find of a colored gemstone to bring to HSN, we also work closely with designers and manufacturers to create unique and exclusive products for HSN.
Continuing jewelry trends going into summer included "chocolate", brown and shades of brown from colored stones and pearls, to metals…and metallics: silver, gold, gunmetal, black, rose, and bronze. Color in metals was seen in "colors" of gold, gold plating and plating for watch bands.
In addition, nature: animal motifs, and florals were prevelent in jewelry designs with lots of color. So look for floral motif rings, pendants, and brooches and animal/reptile/bird motifs to include panthers, snakes, frogs, peacocks, etc.
Color, and lots of it, in big bold statement pieces from gemstone rings and pendants to chunky beaded necklaces. In gemstones, you will be seeing a lot of multi-color that looks updated and fun.
