HSN is pretty clever giving this a new item # so MOST of the past NEGATIVE reviews don't show up on this new configuration. You do now get an extra mouthpiece - well for an EXTRA $100!!! I really thought HSN was above these kind of games.

Very disappointed... rhonda176, TX Rating 11/21/2011
I received this in September and sent it back for replacement since it did not work. However, I still have not received my replacement. I don't know if the replacement is taking as long as the original order almost 3 months. However, I would love to receive one that is operating properly.

Very disappointed with the product. It did not deliver the results I was looking for. Will not purchased this every again. It is a little pricy too.

I was looking forward to receiving this item and when I did, the power plug was defective. The adapter that fits the usb cable allowing you to plug it into the wall was broken...it would not charge the unit and when I pulled it out of the wall to inspect the plug, it came apart in my hand. I called the glo customer service people to get the small part replaced the agent did not know what I was talking about and sent me the wrong item. I will be returning this item for replacement.

Whitening Gel

  • Highly viscous, thixotropic formula stays put when placed directly on the teeth
  • Gel avoids contact with gums or other soft tissue to minimize sensitivity

G-Vials

  • Patent-pending GLO Whitening G-Vials each contain enough gel for approx. four consecutive 8-minute gel applications
  • A pack of 10 G-Vials is good for up to 40 whitening applications
  • Unique, flexible, brush-tip applicator allows for precise application of whitening gel
  • Once opened, the G-Vial will last up to 7 days; just place the cap back on
  • It has a fresh mint taste and contains no alcohol so it shouldn't dry out your mouth

How to Use
  • When you receive the kit, store the G-Vials in the refrigerator
  • To get started, we recommend using GLO for 3-5 days in a row for a maximum of 10 days.
  • Be sure that all your whitening sessions are consecutive. Do not skip days; sessions should be done one day after the other.
  • Each G-Vial has enough whitening gel for 4 whitening applications. Please do all four, 8-minute applications one after the other each day.  It is very important that you do not start and stop with hours in between applications. 
  • Optimal teeth whitening is best achieved by frequency and contact time.

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Make sure your GLO control is fully charged before you begin.
  2. Begin with freshly brushed teeth.
  3. Snap the lanyard in place to make GLO hands-free; place around your neck and attach the GLO Mouthpiece (be sure it’s firmly in place).
  4. Apply GLO Lip Care to lips.
  5. Remove the cap of a G-Vial and squeeze a small amount of gel onto its brush tip. Apply a thin layer of gel to the top and bottom of your front teeth.
  6. Press the GLO button on the control; the control and mouthpiece light up a brilliant blue.
  7. Place the mouthpiece into your mouth (top side up); close your mouth, relax your jaw and get comfortable.
  8. 8 minutes later, your control blinks and the lights turn off.
  9. Remove mouthpiece and rinse it; expel excess saliva.
  10. Repeat this process three more times using the same G-Vial

Notes
  • Dr. Levine does not recommend whitening your teeth during pregnancy; instead, he recommends keeping your gums healthy by brushing and flossing.
  • Safe to use for teenagers ages 13 to 16. Complete two 8-minute applications per day for a maximum of five consecutive days. To maintain, use one 8-minute application per month. Teens 17 and older can follow adult instructions. 
  • Safe to use on unnatural tooth surfaces like bonded teeth, dentures, veneers and implants
  • Helps lift the stain and brighten them without harm; however, true whitening occurs on the natural tooth surface
  • Consult with a dental professional before use if you have untreated dental cavities or any form of gum disease.
  • Do not use for periods in excess of 14 days unless under the supervision of a dentist.
  • If irritation (such as redness, swelling or soreness) of the gums or the mouth occurs, discontinue use and consult a dentist.
  • Do not use when connected by USB or AC adapter to power source.
  • You cannot use your GLO device while it's charging.
