August Collection Inspiration

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to show you what we've been working on the last few months for our AUGUST FALL COLLECTION, but first, I want to thank all of you for your correspondence on HSN.COM! I read all of the comments and suggestions and try to act on as many of them as possible!

Well, believe it or not, but this August marks my 2nd anniversary showing the "Miss Tina collection" at HSN; and to celebrate, we are offering some great prices and complete head-to-toe looks for you to kick off the fall season!

Last year I was able to go to England and explore its beautiful countryside with my family. I was so inspired, that I wanted to incorporate as much of that inspiration into this brand new fall collection. During my travels, I saw some of the most beautiful fabrics and styling details I could not wait to get back home and share my thoughts with my design team. I also had the opportunity to visit some old English Manors, with hills and fields conducive to an equestrian or hunting lifestyle. Some of the things I noticed on the people were textured fabrics (such as houndstooths and cable knits), along with other classics; denim, jerseys and cotton poplins. All of these I tried to incorporate in one way or another within my Fall collection. One of my favorite fall pieces this year is the quilted jacket, but not the old, 'boxy' quilted jacket of days past; my version is tailored with clean lines and beautiful colors. It maintains a woman's beautiful shape, while offering a fashion-of-the-moment look! And be sure also to check out the rest of our sportswear which includes; wrap dresses, cut-n-sew knit tunics, sweater tunics and leggings that come in colors to match back to my entire line!

Also for August, I'm VERY excited to let you know that I'll be offering a new Handbag as the Today's Special this visit! Our last handbag did so well, that I wanted to offer another one, but this time make it more applicable to the fall season. I played with textures and combined beautiful quilted patents and exotics faux snake to create this handbag...AND! I've even thrown in a new wallet/clutch with it that matches perfectly!! I'm so excited to show this handbag to you and hear what you think of it!

While shopping in London, I also noticed that many of the homes had a lion-head doorknocker on their front door! There were so many different kinds, and I just thought they were so cool! We decided to offer our own version of this lion-head door knocker on our belts, and also as a graphic on our best-selling tee shirts! Along with these items are other beautiful accessories like a skinny belt with studs, two-in-one gloves, flower pins (which sold out in a couple minutes last time we aired them in different colors) and the best shoes. This fall I'm offering a new take on a loafer shoe, with a short heel (thanks to all the comments on .com) as well as a sturdy heeled boot with small studs.
